About laser cut Cotton

Cut edge

The cut edge of colour with be dependant on the colour of the fabric. Cotton seals due to the heat of the laser which helps prevent any fraying.

Laser cutting

Due to the heat of the laser there is a very light brown/ yellow tone. Please see images above for examples.

Laser engraving

Engraving on cotton usually leaves a brown yellow tinge. The darker the fabric the less
noticeable it is.

Vector engraving

Vector engraving/cutting is recommended for line and text as it will not lose resolution.
