About laser cut Card

Cut edge

Card cuts differently with varying thicknesses. A general rule is the thicker the card the higher the chance of any marks or scorches. Thin card can cut with no mark.

Laser cutting

When laser cutting card we try to run our
machines as quickly as possible to minimise burn from the laser. We can test any card you want to use so we have optimum settings for the best cut.

Laser engraving

Laser engraving on card is possible for card that is a minimum of (x) gsm.
See above images for examples.

Vector engraving

Vector engraving/cutting is recommended for line and text as it will not lose resolution.
If you do not have the software to create what you need sufficiently; get in touch and we will help.

Raster engraving

Raster engraving is calculated through pixels. We recommend that you get the highest resolution image you can for the best results.
